Audio Switcher - Changelog
1.6.0
- Distinguish identical devices by UID: Two devices that share a model name (e.g. two of the same monitor) are now individually selectable. Favorites, friendly names and the ignorelist accept either a device name or its stable UID, matched UID-first with name fallback.
- UID shown in the picker: In the
in/outlists, same-named devices keep a clean title and show their distinguishing UID in the subtitle, so you can tell them apart. - Copy ready-to-paste favorites lines:
fetchaudiodevicesnow outputsUID;Namelines you can paste straight into your favorites. You can also hold ⌥ (Option) while selecting a device in thein/outlist to copy just that device's line. - Friendly labels in notifications: Rotating favorites (⌘/⌥+F12) and the favorite hotkeys (⌘/⌥+F1–F3) now show your configured friendly label instead of the raw device name.
- Updated in-app help: Workflow description and the Favorites/Ignorelist field hints now document name-or-UID keys.
